OUR STORY
Hi, I’m Radhika, founder of the Indigo Mustard Art Project. Thank you for your interest.
The inspiration for this venture takes me almost a decade back in time. I was working in Singapore as a twenty-something and suffered the usual stresses of life, when I decided to enrol for a painting class in my free time over the weekends. The experience of learning and creating art as a grown-up felt surprisingly uplifting. From having a lot of time to kill over the weekend, I suddenly found myself furiously working at my canvas for hours on end. It was liberating: liberating from the daily grind and mental noise of life. It also gave me the pleasure and thrill of creating works of art that today adorn the walls of my home and those of loved ones.
Fast forward to married life in Mumbai and I could not find any time or space to practice art. I realised there would be many like me and my erstwhile younger self who need art in their life to bring back some semblance of balance. And who knows, a future artist could be born!
Perhaps it is my recent transition to motherhood that filled me with the courage to quit my day job and give wings to my dream - Welcome to Indigo Mustard Art Project.

My Professional Background:
I have an MBA from NUS Business School, Singapore and I went on to work with some of the top Asian banks like HDFC Bank and OCBC Bank. Prior to my MBA, I also worked with TechMahindra as a Software Engineer.
